Dwight McKenzie brings an insurance industry background to Ed Wimp Law. Before practicing law, he worked as a licensed insurance adjuster and estimator for an insurance company, valuing damages and negotiating claims. That work gave him firsthand experience investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims. Now, as an advocate for individuals and businesses, Dwight draws on that experience to represent people injured through the negligence of others, mistreated in the workplace, or caught in disputes over contracts, property, or compliance.
Dwight earned his law degree from Florida A&M University College of Law and was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2023. He also holds a Master of Public Administration and a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Florida Atlantic University. In addition to his of counsel role with Ed Wimp Law, he is the founder of the Law Office of Dwight McKenzie, Esq., PLLC, where he also assists clients with wills and estate planning.
Like the firm, Dwight believes every client deserves to be heard. He takes the time to understand each client's situation, explain their options, and keep them informed from the first consultation to the final resolution.
